- Co-Fundraised $100K for COVID-19 relief with SAHA and Amoud Foundation
- Hosted the May 18th and June 26th online events with Somaliland representative in the US and other Subject Matter experts.
- Mentorship Program across the country for our undergraduate students.
- Registered as a 501c3 nonprofit where we can accept contributions and apply for grants.
- Grew to 340 members from 31 states and all regions.
- Analytical Quarterly Analytical Op-Eds on Somaliland by our SMEs to discuss problems to Somaliland's most pressing issues.

- Grew membership to 400 members in 40 states.
- Held a roundtable discussion event in Hargeisa January 2021 for our members visiting during the winter break.
- 3rd Annual Ramadan Fundraiser for underprivileged children in Borama
- Officially launched our Mentorship Program open to all SLPA members
- Held a May 18th entertainment event with Amina Isir, Fathiya Absiye, and Hodan Abdirahman
- Hosted a #SomalilandAt30 Conference with our SLPA members and partner organizations across the US and Canada such as SAHA, Burco Academy, CSAC, SCPF. Along with special guests Ambassador Bashir Goth and SL Economic Advisor Dr. Osman.
- Signed an MOU with Gollis University to host a Career/Resume/Business Development workshop for college students across Somaliland Universities
- Took part in the SL Foreign Minister delegation event in Washington DC where 15 of our members from the DMV came together to discuss ideas on how SLPA can strengthen relations between our members and Somaliland.
- Kickstarted our Advocacy campaign where 280 of our members reached out to their Congressmen and Representatives to call for Somaliland’s right to self determination as well as lobby for a seat at the US Democracy Summit that happened on December 9th-10th 2021.

- Resume in person events post pandemic in cities and states where we have strong membership.
- Expand Mentorship Program to reach more underprivileged households in the US.
- Continue Advocacy campaign while working with broader US-Somaliland community.

- Co-Host Somaliland Delegation Events and Somaliland Conferences with SL Mission in Washington DC.
- Art and Cultural Exhibit Event in Washington DC.
- Host Career/Resume/Business Development Workshop for Somaliland University students in Somaliland Summer 2022.
- Continue our Summer Internship/Volunteer programs for our members visiting Somaliland.
- Continue to strengthen our partnerships and collaborations with like-minded organizations in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, and Somaliland.
